Stars on 45 Project는 1981년 비틀즈 메들리를 시작으로 아바, 스티비 원더, 롤링 스톤즈 등 레전드 밴드의 Disco 메들리를 발표 대히트를 기록하였으며 그 후 또한 앤드류 시스터즈의 음악과 마를린 몬로의 곡들을 메들리로 구성한 앨범을 발표하여 그 대미를 장식하게 된다.

네덜란드 판 Original Stars On 45 Project 에는 2장의 정규 앨범이 있는데 지금 이 앨범은 그 가운데 백미라 할 수 있는 Stars On 45 - The Very Best of Stars On 45 앨범이 되겠다. 앨범의 구성은 8개의 Original Single Version A side 곡들과 아바, 비틀즈의 미국 Version 그리고 비틀즈 멤버 조지 해리슨의 히트곡을 메들리로 만든 곡과 미국 전설의 그룹 슈프림즈의 히트곡을 메들리로 만든 노래 등을 포함하여 총 13곡으로 이루어져 있다.
